FiT author, Dr. Mark S. Nagel, receives the 2016 NASSM Distinguished Educator Award. The Distinguished Educator Award recognizes distinction in the classroom, excellence in pedagogical innovations, sustained improvement and quality of teaching and learning in the sport management disciplines, and continued commitment to one’s own professional learning. Congratulations, Dr. Nagel!

Dr. Nagel is part of the authorial team preparing the new edition of Sport Facility Management: Organizing Events and Mitigating Risks, along with Robin Ammon Jr. and Richard M. Southall. FiT Publishing is pleased to have the pedagogical and scholastic expertise of Dr. Nagel on this project, due out next fall.
