Danny Rosenberg, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology at Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. His primary research interests include sport and physical education philosophy, sport ethics, sport management ethics, sport history, and sport and ethnicity.
He was the founding program director and then chair of the Department of Sport Management at Brock University. He has authored or coauthored articles and essays in journals such as the International Journal of Physical Education, Canadian Journal of Sport History, Avante, Journal of the Philosophy of Sport, and the Journal of Sport History. His works have also been published as book chapters and in conference proceedings. Dr. Rosenberg is past president of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport. He serves on several professional committees in both Canada and the U.S. and is a reviewer for a number of journals. He holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
