Danny Rosenberg

Danny Rosenberg, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. His primary research interests include sport and physical education philosophy, sport ethics, healthcare ethics, sport management ethics, sport history, and Judaism and sport. For over a decade he has taught a healthcare ethics course to kinesiology majors. Dr. Rosenberg served as chair of the Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology and was the founding program director and then chair of the Department of Sport Management at Brock University.

Together with Joy DeSensi, he is the co-author of four editions of Ethics and Morality in Sport Management, with the latest edition published in 2020. He has authored or co-authored articles and essays in journals such as the International Journal of Physical Education, European Journal of Physical Education, Canadian Journal of Sport History, Avante, Journal of the Philosophy of Sport, Quest, Sport, Ethics and Philosophy, Sport in Society, Olympika, and the Journal of Sport History. His works have also been published as book chapters and in conference proceedings. Dr. Rosenberg is past president of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport and is a reviewer for several journals. He holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
