The third edition of Ethics and Morality in Sport Management continues to examine the ethical concepts, principles, and issues in the administration and organization of sport that made the first two editions of this textbook so widely adopted. The book approaches the topics from four directions: ethical theory, personal and professional ethics, ethics applied, and future moral and ethical issues. Authors Joy T. DeSensi and Danny Rosenberg have enhanced the text by adding two new chapters that help to frame the content in a globalized context. In addition, the references, examples, scenarios, and analyses have been updated throughout the book. It is hoped that Ethics and Morality in Sport Management, 3rd Edition will assist current and future sport managers in the development of greater ethical competency and enhance their awareness of social responsibility and moral accountability.
“Joy DeSensi and Danny Rosenberg help sport management educators and sport management students navigate an increasingly complex global industry. A combination of theoretical grounding as well as practical application, this text helps steer the reader through the maze of management issues facing future sport industry professionals by using the guidance of an ethical compass.”
— from the foreword by Dr. Mary A. Hums, University of Louisville
