Steven Danish

Steven Danish

Dr. Steven J. Danish was president of Life Skills Associates and emeritus professor of psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. He served as chair of the department of psychology and founder and director of the Life Skills Center. He was a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychological Society, and the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and was past president of the Society of Community Research and Action. He wrote in the areas of military, counseling, community, sport, and life-span psychology; health and nutrition; and substance abuse prevention, and published titles including Enhancing Performance and Quality of Life Book and Guide. Dr. Danish passed away on August 24, 2023.

Bradley Schultz

Bradley E. Schultz

Dr. Schultz was a professor at the School of Journalism & New Media at the University of Mississippi. His research interests focused primarily on the effect of new technologies on the practice of sports journalism. He co-authored three editions of Media Relations in Sport, a key text in our Sport Management Library, along with several other books, scholarly papers, and academic presentations. He is also the creator and former editor of the Journal of Sports Media, published by University of Nebraska Press. Dr. Bradley E. Schultz passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Ming Li

Ming Li

Dr. Li was a professor and dean of the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University. His research interests focused primarily on financial and economic aspects of sport and in management of sport business in a global context. He co-authored Economics of Sport and Research Methods in Sport Management in our Sport Management Library, as well as published several articles in refereed journals, numerous book chapters, and other books. Li served as a leader in various organizations, such as North American Society for Sport Management, and on the editorial boards of several professional journals, including Sport Marketing Quarterly. Dr. Ming Li passed away on August 4, 2022.
