Paul G. Schempp
Paul G. Schempp is a professor in the Kinesiology Department at the University of Georgia, where he directs the Sport Instruction Research Laboratory. His primary research interests are in the area of expertise development.
He earned a BS in physical education from the University of Bridgeport, an MS in physical education from Ithaca College, and an EdD in human movement from Boston University. He has served as a professor at Kent State University in Ohio, the University of Oregon , and the University of Georgia. Dr. Schempp also served as a Senior Fulbright Research Scholar at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, Germany and was a visiting professor at the National Institute of Education in Singapore.
The author of four books and more than 70 articles, Dr. Schemppp has given over 100 presentations in 20 countries and has delivered lectures at two dozen universities on three continents.
