Lynn D. Housner is currently associate dean of the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and professor of physical education teacher education at West Virginia University, a position he has held since 1994. Lynn received his B.S. from the University of Virginia and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. While attending graduate school, Lynn taught physical education to children preschool through eighth grade at Falk Laboratory School.
After three years at WVU, Dr. Ayers has joined the Pedagogy faculty at Western Michigan University, where she is now an assistant professor. Her research interests include student cognition, test and survey development, fitness education, and curriculum development. Her contributions to the professional literature include publications in peer-reviewed journals, books, and numerous presentations at the state and national levels. A recreational weight trainer, Dr. Ayers also enjoys golfing, walking, playing racquetball, reading, and working in the yard.
Professional experience includes non-profit fundraising and event planning as well as marketing, public relations and communications experience within private industry. Currently, Cameon serves as program coordinator with WVU College of Physical Activity & Sport Sciences, and oversees alumni relations program initiatives and public relations-related strategic goals and objectives. Daily responsibilities include alumni relations, development, publications, presentations, event planning and serving as media liaison. She has extensive familiarity in higher education.
Shihui Chen, PhD, an associate professor at the Health and Physical Education Department at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, earned an MS in Adapted Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse, and a PhD in Adapted Kinesiology from the University of New Mexico, USA.
