Dr. Dieter Hackfort is a professor for sport and exercise psychology with the University AF Munich since 1991 and Head of the Institute for Sport Science. In 1986 he was a visiting professor at the Center for Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology at the University of South Florida in Tampa and received tenure at the University of Heidelberg. Robert M. Nideffer received his PhD in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1971. A former associate professor at the University of Rochester and professor at the California School of Professional Psychology, he is currently an adjunct professor at San Diego State University.
