Dina Gentile
Dr. Dina Gentile is Distinguished Professor of Sport Management and Esports Management Endicott College, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels for over 30 years. Dr. Gentile presents her work on youth sport, esports management, athletic administration, and sport management nationally and internationally. At the forefront of an emerging field of study, Dr. Gentile published a first-of-its-kind textbook: Introduction to Esports Management. She previously published Teaching Sport Management: A Practical Guide and Athletic Administration for College, High School, Youth, and Club Sport.
Gentile is also regarded as a well-respected coach and administrator in college and club soccer in New England. Gentile served for 11 years as head coach of Endicott College where her teams were conference champions five out of her 11 years as head coach and qualified three times for the NCAA Division III championships. Gentile was the first coach inducted into the Endicott Athletics Hall of Fame. As a player she was an All-American and Athletics Hall of Famer at Adelphi University in New York As a youth coach, Gentile is a former Director of Coaching for both club and town programs, a former certified trainer with the Positive Coaching Alliance, worked in operations with the Boston Breakers women’s professional soccer team, and served as President of the New England Impact National Premier League working with 10 clubs and hundreds of highly-motivated players.
