Robert Weinberg is a professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health at Miami University in Ohio where he was voted distinguished scholar and outstanding faculty in the College of Education, Health, and Society. Before coming to Miami University, he was a regents professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of North Texas from 1978–1992. He was also voted one of the top 10 sport psychologists in North America by his peers. Dr. Weinberg received his bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College in physical education. He then received his master of science in Kinesiology from UCLA followed by another master's, PhD and postdoctoral scholar in the Psychology Department at UCLA. He has been teaching sport and exercise psychology to graduate and undergraduate students for over 30 years.
